Film & Folklore Festival
ORIGINS | April 1–7, 2026 | Trinidad & Tobago

From April 1–7, 2026, the Film & Folklore Festival returns with Origins — a curated week of storytelling, industry engagement, and cultural immersion at the National Scout Headquarters, St Ann’s, Port of Spain.​

Daily Festival Activities (2-7)

  • Museum Access – TT$10

  • Film Screenings – TT$10

Experience curated folklore-inspired installations and a selection of local, regional and international films that highlight the depth and diversity of cultural  storytelling.

Bobolee Competition 

Friday 3rd April (Good Friday)

A cultural activation rooted in tradition and expression.

  • Registration required in advance

  • Open to creative interpretations

Bring your satire, symbolism, and storytelling to life. 

 

​Camp Folklore

Monday 6th April (Easter Monday)

A family-friendly experience celebrating culture and community.

  • Entry: Free

  • Pop-up market featuring local vendors

  • Interactive games and activities

Film Incubator: Treasure Hunt 

Thursday 2nd April 2026 | 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

A one-day creative accelerator in collaboration with C15 Studios Limited, designed for creators ready to move from concept to execution.
